\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The French middleweight recently revealed on Jaiden Cable\u2019s YouTube
\nchannel that UFC officials have assured him he\u2019ll receive the next
\ncrack at the 185-pound title following Sean
\nStrickland<\/a>‘s championship-winning victory over Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> at
\nUFC 328<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nassourdine Imavov says UFC middleweight title fight with Sean
\nStrickland is next after UFC 328<\/h2>\n

Imavov wants to avenge his 2023 loss to Strickland, especially
\nconsidering he doesn\u2019t like the outspoken and polarizing
\nAmerican.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like him. It\u2019s personal between me and him,\u201d Imavov said
\nof Strickland. \u201cThe UFC told me my next fight would be for the
\nbelt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Imavov revealed that he was initially willing to remain active by
\naccepting a bout against former champion Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> before the promotion informed him to wait for a title
\nopportunity instead. If those plans remain intact, Imavov expects
\nthe championship clash against Strickland to take place later this
\nyear, with October or November the likely target.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not a good person,\u201d Imavov added. \u201cHe talks sh*t every day
\nand it\u2019s very personal now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since his defeat to Strickland, Imavov has compiled an impressive
\nwin streak, bagging wins against Roman
\nDolidze<\/a>, Jared
\nCannonier<\/a>, Brendan
\nAllen<\/a>, Israel
\nAdesanya<\/a> and Caio
\nBorralho<\/a>. Meanwhile, Strickland reclaimed the middleweight
\ntitle with his win over Chimaev, who\u2019s also calling for a rematch
\nwith the reigning champ.<\/p>\n
