Dulatov (12-1) is scheduled to take on Wellington
\nTurman<\/a> (18-8) in his second appearance in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> since winning a contract on
\n
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a>. He returns in a welterweight
\nmatchup at
\nUFC Abu Dhabi<\/a> on July 25 at Etihad Arena in Yas Island.<\/p>\n

Islam Dulatov says his UFC Abu Dhabi game plan doesn’t require
\nstudying Wellington Turman<\/h2>\n

Dulatov isn\u2019t bothered by the fact that there isn\u2019t much footage
\navailable on Turman. “The Ripper” is confident that he doesn\u2019t need
\nto see Turman\u2019s film to execute his game plan.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot that much footage of him,\u201d Dulatov said in a recent interview.
\n\u201cBut he is the same person, he has the same chin, and he has the
\nsame style he had before. If he learned some stuff it\u2019s good for
\nhim. But at the end of the day, for what I want to do with him, I
\ndon\u2019t need to see footage. I just want to knock him out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dulatov vows to look for a first-round finish over Turman like he
\nalways does. The surging 170-pounder jokingly claimed that until he
\nstarts getting paid by the hour, he wants to finish fights as
\nquickly as possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst round finish is the perfect performance for me,\u201d Dulatov
\nadded. \u201cI don\u2019t like to fight too much. I don\u2019t get paid by
\nminutes. If the UFC starts paying me for rounds, maybe I\u2019ll fight
\nthree rounds. But right now, I think I\u2019m good with first
\nround.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dulatov is a former model who has walked the ramp for the likes of
\nVersace, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss. He has finished all
\n12 of his wins, going past the first round only once since his lone
\nloss in his pro debut in 2019. The 27-year-old scored a first-round
\nknockout win over Adam Fugitt<\/a>
\nin his UFC debut last year.<\/p>\n

While Dulatov is based out of Germany, he recently announced that
\nhe will be representing Turkey going forward. Meanwhile, Turman
\nwill likely be fighting for his spot on the roster as he is 3-6 in
\nthe UFC and currently on a three-fight slump.<\/p>\n
