The
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>\u2019s upcoming visit to Serbia will
\nsee new European talent make his Octagon debut.<\/p>\n

Alexander
\nPoppeck<\/a> (21-5) recently signed with the UFC. The German is set
\nto make his promotional debut against fellow UFC debutant Jovan Leka<\/a>
\n(13-2) at
\nUFC Belgrade<\/a> on Aug. 1 at Belgrade Arena.<\/p>\n

Jovan Leka brings a six-fight winning streak into UFC Belgrade
\nagainst Alexander Poppeck<\/h2>\n

While Poppeck competes at light heavyweight, he will move up to
\nheavyweight for his upcoming bout. Notably, the 34-year-old had
\nsuffered a knockout loss to Jamahal
\nHill<\/a> on
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> back in 2019.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest names in Oktagon
\nMMA<\/a>, Poppeck is unbeaten in six outings (1 NC) since 2023, with
\nfour finishes. Meanwhile, Leka will have the Serbian home crowd
\nrallying behind him and is on a six-fight winning streak with four
\nfinishes.<\/p>\n

Leka earned a win on Contender Series last year but failed to
\nimpress UFC CEO Dana
\nWhite<\/a> and the matchmakers. The 24-year-old then picked up two
\nfinishes outside the promotion before the UFC Belgrade opportunity
\ncame about.<\/p>\n
