Tyson
\nFury<\/a> will give up a significant size advantage when he faces
\nMariusz Wach.<\/p>\n

The former heavyweight champion weighed in at 265 pounds for the
\nbout in Pattaya, Thailand, while Wach came in at a hefty 291.4
\npounds, marking a 26.4-pound weight difference in favor of the
\nPolish heavyweight.<\/p>\n

Tyson Fury faces Mariusz Wach after surrendering his usual size
\nadvantage<\/h2>\n

Fury acknowledged the size disparity after the weigh-in for his
\nfight with Wach on July 24. “The Gypsy King” highlighted that he\u2019s
\nworking his way back to his optimum fighting weight after a lengthy
\nhiatus from the squared circle.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ve never faced a man heavier than me,\u201d Fury said at the weigh-in
\n(via Sky Sports<\/a>). \u201cI’m very happy to be fighting.
\nI’m not banking on any fight happening or not happening. I’m a
\nfighter, I want to keep busy. I’ve had one fight in over two years.
\nThis is my second camp back-to-back after a 16-month layoff. I’m
\ngetting sharper, fitter and stronger every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fury’s official weight is two pounds lighter than it was for his
\nunanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov in April. At
\nthe weigh-ins, he also spoke about how he plans to approach the
\nfight with Wach.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to box his head off for 12 rounds, if possible,\u201d Fury
\nadded. \u201cI’m there to box and move, use my attributes. I’ve got to
\nbe 100 percent focused, switched on, take nobody as an easy touch
\nand do my job, like I always do.\u201d<\/p>\n

His upcoming bout is expected to serve as the final tune-up fight
\nahead of a highly-anticipated heavyweight showdown with fellow
\nEnglishman Anthony
\nJoshua<\/a> targeted later this year.<\/p>\n
