\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> welterweight championship will be
\non the line this Saturday after the
\nPFL DC<\/a> weigh-ins made it official today.<\/p>\n

Headlining the eight-fight mixed martial arts event is the title
\nfight between welterweight king Thad Jean<\/a> and
\nlate-notice challenger Ernesto
\nRodriguez<\/a>. Both men made weight for the fight, which came
\ntogether after would-be challenger Shamil
\nMusaev<\/a> bowed out due to weight-cutting issues. All other
\nfighters on the card also successfully made weight.<\/p>\n

The undefeated Jean has a perfect 11-0 record as a pro. Just 28, “Silverback” already has seven wins inside the promotion. The
\nAmerican most recently beat Logan
\nStorley<\/a> by decision to claim the welterweight title. Jean
\nofficially weighed 169.2 pounds for his first title defense.<\/p>\n

Looking to make the most out of his unexpected title shot is
\nRodriguez (11-1). Also 28, the Xtreme Couture product is
\nchallenging for the belt in just his second fight for the PFL. “Starboy” won a majority decision over Masayuki
\nKikuiri<\/a> earlier this year. The Cuban fighter weighed 169.8
\npounds for the biggest fight of his career.<\/p>\n

The PFL DC card will air live on ESPN. The main card airs at 10
\np.m. ET\/7 p.m. PT, while the prelims start at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT
