Ryan Garcia won\u2019t be bound by guidelines if he ever signs with
\nZuffa Boxing.<\/p>\n

Garcia is scheduled to put his WBC welterweight title on the line
\nagainst Zuffa Boxing\u2019s Conor Benn on Sept. 12 at T-Mobile Arena in
\nLas Vegas. While the particulars of the bout are unknown to Garcia,
\nhe believes it will be co-promoted. Furthermore, Garcia is certain
\nthat he will not be wearing Zuffa fight gear and claims he will
\nnever wear a Zuffa uniform even if he signs with the promotion.<\/p>\n

Ryan Garcia explains why he would refuse Zuffa Boxing gear
\nwhile praising Dana White\u2019s new promotion<\/h2>\n

Garcia explains that he likes to express himself by designing his
\nown outfit and walkout music. He vows to never sign with Zuffa
\nBoxing if they don\u2019t allow him to express himself the way he wants.
\nHowever, Garcia complimented Dana
\nWhite<\/a> for the way he is building up Zuffa Boxing.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven if I ever signed with Zuffa, I will make sure that I never
\nwear a Zuffa outfit,\u201d Garcia told Ariel Helwani. \u201cI’m wearing my
\nown outfits, doing my own thing. If you don’t like it, then I’ll
\nnever sign with you. At the end of the day, I love the whole
\n\u2018design your outfit, design your walkout.\u2019 I’m not about to be a
\nrobot. I don’t care how much money you offer me. I just love the
\nwhole show of it and I feel like they should let certain fighters
\ndo that. I would like to express myself\u2026 I think Dana White’s doing
\nan amazing job with Zuffa so far… I like how they run the press
\nconferences… I think it’s better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zuffa Boxing is White\u2019s venture into the world of pugilism. The
\n
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> CEO wants to bring boxing under
\na centralized UFC-style model, but is facing fierce competition
\nfrom traditional boxing promoters like Eddie Hearn.<\/p>\n
