Sola put his perfect record on the line in a lightweight tilt
\nagainst Mason Jones<\/a>

\nUFC London<\/a> this past March. Sola and Jones put on a
\nback-and-forth slugfest for 15 minutes that stole the show. While
\nthe French lightweight suffered a decision loss, both fighters
\nwalked home with an extra $100k each after earning Fight of the
\nNight honors.<\/p>\n

Sola has now outlined the positives of his last bout.<\/p>\n

Axel Sola explains the impact of his Mason Jones loss before
\nUFC Abu Dhabi<\/h2>\n

Despite losing his undefeated record, Sola believes it made him a
\nbetter fighter. The Frenchman also claims that the loss earned him
\nmore stardom and money than his past 11 wins.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat experience,\u201d he said in a recent interview when asked about
\nhis last fight. \u201cIt definitely made me a better fighter. In one
\nloss, I had more gain in visibility and money than in 11 wins. So,
\nit was an alpha loss, let\u2019s say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sola (11-1-1) is now scheduled to face Ismael
\nBonfim<\/a> (20-6) at
\nUFC Abu Dhabi<\/a> on July 25 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Bonfim
\nis 2-3 in the UFC and coming off back-to-back stoppage losses. Sola
\nis not only looking to get his hands raised, but is eager to do so
\nin emphatic fashion.<\/p>\n

\u201cA win is good, but the quality of the win is even more important,\u201d
\nhe added. \u201cSo, it will all depend on the way I win.\u201d<\/p>\n
