\nUFC Abu Dhabi<\/a> to take the next leap in his career.<\/p>\n

Davis is scheduled to fight Nurullo
\nAliev<\/a> in a lightweight matchup on July 25 at Etihad Arena in
\nAbu Dhabi. He wants to secure a win so he can use the money to move
\nto Las Vegas, considered the home of the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mike Davis explains why Las Vegas move could boost his UFC
\ncareer<\/h2>\n

Davis claims moving to Las Vegas is the ideal next step to advance
\nhis career. Considering Meta Apex and T-Mobile Arena are the UFC\u2019s
\nmost frequented venues in recent years, the 155-pounder believes
\nit\u2019ll allow him to stay more active.<\/p>\n

Davis regularly visits Las Vegas, where he trains at the UFC
\nPerformance Institute, known for its state-of-the-art facilities.
\nHaving been injury-ridden throughout his career, he believes he
\nwill be healthier if he regularly visits the UFC PI.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter this win, I plan to use the funds to move to Vegas,\u201d Davis
\nsaid in a recent interview. \u201cThat way I\u2019m closer to the UFC and I
\ncan be involved with the short-notice T-Mobile and Apex fights. I
\njust want to be more active and more involved in what the UFC does
\nand what I can do with the UFC. So, the Vegas move is after this\u2026 I
\njust came back from Vegas. I was at the PI every day, doing
\nstrength and conditioning. It\u2019s definitely the environment that I
\nneed, the environment that my body needs. To be treated every
\nsingle day, I\u2019m not gonna be injured anymore, which means I can
\nfight more often.\u201d<\/p>\n

Davis is 5-2 in the UFC and coming off a knockout win over Mitch
\nRamirez<\/a> that saw him rebound from a loss against Fares Ziam<\/a>.
\nMeanwhile, undefeated Tajik prospect Aliev has three UFC wins to
\nhis name since earning a contract on
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a>.<\/p>\n
