\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The unbeaten British standout meets former Bellator<\/a>
\nkickboxing champion Denise
\nKielholtz<\/a> on July 31 at UBS Arena on Long Island, New York,
\nmarking her return after suffering a broken hand against Sumiko
\nInaba<\/a> in 2025, an injury that sidelined her for more than a
\nyear.<\/p>\n

Dakota Ditcheva discusses confidence struggles before PFL fight
\nwith Denise Kielholtz<\/h2>\n

Despite a 100% physical recovery from her injury, Ditcheva still
\nstruggles with the mental aspect of returning to competition. She
\nrecently admitted that the biggest hurdle has been regaining
\ncomplete confidence in her repaired hand, especially having
\nundergone reconstructive surgery.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to try and forget about it,\u201d Ditcheva said about her
\nrecovery after the surgery. \u201cI\u2019m doing everything I was doing
\nbefore it was broken, so for now, it\u2019s just the mind. I don\u2019t have
\nany evidence to suggest the hand isn\u2019t as strong as it was before;
\nI\u2019m hitting just as hard as I was before.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ditcheva also claimed that she occasionally feels \u201cnervous\u201d before
\ntraining sessions.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I get ready for training in the morning, I\u2019m nervous,\u201d the
\nPFL star added. \u201cBut that\u2019s what makes me go and those feeling are
\nwhat I live for every day.\u201d<\/p>\n
