Kutateladze recently got engaged to his partner, Erika Nielsen.
\nIlia and Aleksandre were seen rejoicing and congratulating their
\nlongtime friend and teammate. This is one of the few occasions the
\nformer two-division
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> titleholder has been spotted
\nwithout sunglasses since his title loss to Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> at
\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ilia Topuria’s latest public appearance comes at Guram
\nKutateladze’s celebration<\/h2>\n

Kutateladze was a highly touted prospect going into his UFC debut
\nin 2020 and lived up to the hype with a split decision win over
\nMateusz
\nGamrot<\/a>. However, \u201cGeorgian Viking\u201d endured an inconsistent UFC
\nstint thereafter, going 3-3 in the promotion. He was released from
\nthe UFC following a loss to Kaue
\nFernandes<\/a> last year and has since scored a first-round knockout
\nwin over fellow UFC veteran Victor
\nHugo<\/a> on the regional circuit.<\/p>\n

The friendship between Kutateladze and the Topuria brothers goes
\nall the way back to their Georgian roots. Ilia\u2019s initial beef with
\nPaddy
\nPimblett<\/a> had started when the Liverpool native insulted Georgia
\nduring an online spat with Kutateladze in 2021.<\/p>\n

Kutateladze\u2019s engagement party marks one of the handful of
\noccasions Topuria has been seen publicly since losing his
\nlightweight belt in a bout wherein he suffered extensive facial
\ndamage. \u201cEl Matador\u201d was also seen celebrating Spain\u2019s World Cup
\nvictory and was recently spotted in Ibiza.<\/p>\n
