\ncropped off their curly locks of hair with a trimmer. The Dagestani
\nassured them that the new hairdo suited them better.<\/p>\n

Islam Makhachev\u2019s Dagestan team tradition returns ahead of UFC
\n330<\/h2>\n

The close crop hairstyle is mandatory in Khabib
\nNurmagomedov<\/a>\u2019s team. The rule was laid down by the UFC Hall of
\nFamer\u2019s late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who initially honed
\nthe entire team in the mountains of Dagestan. Notably, Makhachev
\nhad once been thrown out of the gym for having long hair.<\/p>\n

Makhachev took to his Instagram Stories to showcase the only
\nhairstyle permitted in the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, for these two brothers, we make good haircut. I swear you
\nlook better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Khabib also posted a video of his protege trimming their hair.
\nMakhachev shared Nurmagomedov\u2019s post with the caption:<\/p>\n

\u201cThey didn\u2019t have to go to Dagestan. Dagestan came for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Makhachev (28-1) is scheduled to defend his welterweight title for
