\nHamilton<\/a> was very disappointed with Jon Jones<\/a> for
\nan unexpected reason.<\/p>\n

The former
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> double champ recently recalled
\nan incident that led Hamilton to unfollow and block him on social
\nmedia. Jones had joined Army Rangers on a hunting trip from a
\nhelicopter with rifles. He even managed to shoot a pig, which was
\ndonated to an underprivileged family. However. Hamilton was
\ndisappointed with Jones\u2019 way of hunting.<\/p>\n

Jon Jones explains how Lewis Hamilton reacted to his helicopter
\npig hunt and why the F1 icon cut ties on social media<\/h2>\n

Hamilton called Jones a \u201ccoward\u201d for shooting the animal from a
\nhelicopter. The former F1 champ believes that animals should be
\nhunted traditionally with spears or arrows, to give them a fighting
\nchance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went hunting years ago with a bunch of Army Rangers and we ended
\nup hunting pigs from a helicopter using AR-15s,\u201d Jones told ALF
\nGlobal. \u201cI was so proud of myself because I killed one of the pigs
\nfrom the helicopter and my pig was donated to an underprivileged
\nfamily in the community. But Lewis saw me shoot the pig from the
\nhelicopter. And he wrote me a long message saying that I was a
\ncoward. And that he thought that I was better than that. He said
\nthat the traditional way of killing an animal should be with a
\nspear or with a bow and an arrow. He wrote something like, \u2018Only a
\ncoward could shoot an animal from a helicopter. Give the animal a
\nchance to fight you back at least.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Hamilton subsequently unfollowed and blocked Jones on social media.
\nThe latter has now offered an apology to the legendary Brit.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe unfollowed me and he blocked me and it sucked because I was his
\nfan,\u201d Jones added. \u201cI was a fan of him, but he was very
\ndisappointed in me for shooting the pig. Lewis, if you\u2019re
\nlistening, I\u2019m sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n
