Despite failing multiple drug tests, Jon Jones<\/a>
\ninsists that he never used steroids.<\/p>\n

Jones (28-1) is considered one of the greatest fighters in
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> history. However, his legacy is
\nmarred by multiple anti-doping violations throughout his career.
\nThe former two-division champion recently reiterated past claims
\nthat he\u2019s never taken performance-enhancing substances.<\/p>\n

Jon Jones\u2019 UFC career remains tied to anti-doping controversies
\nand GOAT debates<\/h2>\n

Jones was stripped of the interim UFC lightweight heavyweight title
\nafter testing positive for clomiphene and letrozole following his
\nwin over Ovince St.
\nPreux<\/a> in 2016. He again tested positive for a turinabol
\nmetabolite in 2017, which led to his stoppage win over Daniel
\nCormier<\/a> in their rematch being overturned to a no contest.<\/p>\n

While Jones tested positive for the M3 metabolite of oral turinabol
\nin 2018 following his win over Alexander
\nGustafsson<\/a>, \u201cBones\u201d wasn\u2019t penalized as the substance was
\ndeemed to be lasting effects from his previously failed drug
\ntest.<\/p>\n

However, Jones refuses to accept his doping violations. The former
\nUFC double champ insists that the failed drug tests were a result
\nof tainted supplements and also claims that the substances found in
\nhis failed drug tests had no performance-enhancing effects.<\/p>\n

\u201cNever took steroids,\u201d Jones told ALF Global. \u201cIt was a supplement
\nfound in my body. It was proven to come from a supplement company
\nthat I was using. It was a tainted supplement that I was using. The
\namount of this substance that was in my body was so small that it
\ntook very expensive scientists to be able to even find it and the
\nsupplement that was found in my body has zero performance-enhancing
\neffects, zero. And that’s very well documented.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jones then addressed fans and fighters who diminish his
\naccomplishments, claiming they don\u2019t look at the facts and jump to
\nconclusions.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor some reason, the fans ignore all that, and they’re just like,
\n\u2018Something about steroids, he’s guilty.\u2019 I never did and that was
\nproven. It’s funny because fighters are like, \u2018Jon Jones is a
\nknucklehead, but he’s brilliant enough to do steroids and trick the
\nUFC’s scientists.\u2019 It’s like, which one is it? Am I the knucklehead
\nor the mad genius?\u201d<\/p>\n
