Usman is set to defend his lightweight title against Colgan in the
\nmain event of
\nPFL New York<\/a> on July 31 at UBS Arena in Long Island. Khabib
\nbelieves the undefeated American is the toughest opponent of his
\ncousin Usman\u2019s career so far.<\/p>\n

Khabib Nurmagomedov breaks down Usman Nurmagomedov vs. Archie
\nColgan<\/h2>\n

Khabib notes that Colgan has a strong wrestling base, which could
\nneutralize Usman\u2019s ground control. Nevertheless, the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> Hall of Famer remains confident
\nand recently revealed that Usman is well-prepared for the bout
\nwhile breaking down the matchup.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think this is the toughest fight for Usman,\u201d Khabib told Will
\nHarris of Anatomy of a Fighter. \u201cThis guy’s a real deal. He knows
\nhow to wrestle. He’s tough, never lost. He’s the toughest challenge
\nfor Usman, I think. Of course, Usman is in incredible shape —
\nphysically, mentally, everything is there. His weight is good, mood
\nis good, the most important. I think this is a very-very high-level
\nfight. Can’t wait to see this match.\u201d<\/p>\n

Usman (21-0) has defended his PFL lightweight title twice since
\nwinning it last year against Paul
\nHughes<\/a>. This fight also likely plays a key factor in the
\nRussian\u2019s future in the PFL as it is the last bout in his current
\ncontract with the promotion.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Colgan (13-0) is a former D1 collegiate wrestler with
\nnotable wins over the likes of Manuel Sousa, Mansour
\nBarnaoui<\/a> and Jay-Jay
\nWilson<\/a>. Khabib\u2019s former opponent and current UFC lightweight
\nchampion Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> will be in Colgan\u2019s corner at PFL New York.<\/p>\n
