Stirling is coming off a second-round stoppage win over \u201cThe Hulk,\u201d
\nwherein the undefeated Kiwi reversed a takedown and unleashed a
\nflurry of punches on a seated Cutelaba to secure the finish.
\nHowever, Stirling notes that the finish was triggered by a knee to
\nhis opponent\u2019s liver that he landed right before getting taken
\ndown.<\/p>\n

Having hurt several of his opponents with body shots, Stirling knew
\nhe had damaged Cutelaba with the knee to the body. He revealed that
\nCutelaba let out a big gasp of air moments after landing the
\ntakedown, subsequently lost his hold on the takedown and Stirling
\nwent for the finish.<\/p>\n

While it might\u2019ve looked like Cutelaba just gave up after the
\ntakedown reversal to the untrained eye, Stirling guarantees that
\nanyone\u2019s body will stop responding if they eat a flush knee from
\nhim.<\/p>\n

\u201cI sunk this left knee to the body right before the last takedown
\nand hit him flush in the liver,\u201d Stirling said in a recent
\ninterview. \u201cAnd he finished the takedown; he locked in a squeeze.
\nAnd I\u2019ve got a lot of body shot finishes, so I know the delayed
\nreaction that you get. Basically, after two seconds within the
\ntakedown, he let out a really loud winded noise. His body went limp
\non the takedown and I knew straight away it was the knee. So, I got
\nup and rushed the finish. I knew I didn\u2019t need to control him
\nanymore; I could just push him, get him out of there, because he
\nwas done\u2026 And you know, the guy didn\u2019t give up. If I sink a left
\nknee to your liver, you\u2019re not gonna be able to move.\u201d<\/p>\n
