Dana
\nWhite<\/a> is unfazed by the union of two of the biggest competitors
\nto the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The UFC CEO addressed the recently announced merger between
\n
\nMost Valuable Promotions<\/a> and the
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a>, offering a dismissive response
\nwhen asked about the future of the organization.<\/p>\n

\u2018Those guys aren\u2019t my competition\u2019: Dana White dismisses
\nPFL-MVP merger<\/h2>\n

MVP and PFL revealed that the two companies will be joining forces
\nin a move aimed at reshaping the combat sports landscape. The
\ntransition process is expected to take several months, with the new
\npromotion targeting a full launch in 2027. The merged entity plans
\nto stage both boxing and MMA events, although the finer details are
\nyet to be finalized.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Mac Life, White shared his opinion on the
\nmerger.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know anything about what they\u2019re doing,\u201d White said. \u201cIt
\nprobably makes sense. When sh*t isn\u2019t working for anybody, we
\nshould probably get together. Let\u2019s take two organizations that
\ndon\u2019t sell tickets, and nobody watches and let\u2019s merge them
\ntogether and make a bigger company that we won\u2019t sell tickets to
\nand that nobody will watch.\u201d<\/p>\n

The UFC boss reiterated that he does not view PFL or any other MMA
\npromotion as a direct threat to the UFC\u2019s position in the
\nindustry.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, I said this 100 times,\u201d White added. \u201cI don\u2019t look at any
\nof those guys as our competition. We\u2019re in a whole other f*cking
\nstratosphere now. I mean, I\u2019m competing with all the majors. Those
\nguys aren\u2019t my competition. So good luck to them all. I wish them
\nall the best.\u201d<\/p>\n
