After struggling to plant his feet while throwing<br \/>\nstrikes and repeatedly falling to the canvas, the referee stopped<br \/>\nthe bout after just 69 seconds.\u201cNotorious\u201d is now headed for<br \/>\nanother surgery, the fifth surgery of his career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell folks, here we go again! Surgery number 5 of my career coming<br \/>\nup!\u201d McGregor wrote on Instagram. \u201cAll things considered that is an<br \/>\nok number! Let&#8217;s do it, WE GOT THIS!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Notably, McGregor suffered the same ACL and meniscus injuries in<br \/>\nhis other knee during his first bout with Holloway in 2013, which<br \/>\nhe won by decision. He took nearly a year to return from that<br \/>\ninjury. McGregor\u2019s other major in-cage injury was an infamous leg<br \/>\nbreak in his trilogy bout against <a rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sherdog.com\/fighter\/Dustin-Poirier-50529\">Dustin<br \/>\nPoirier<\/a>, which was followed by a nearly five-year UFC<br \/>\nhiatus.<\/p>\n<p>McGregor has one fight remaining on his UFC contract and expects to<br \/>\ncomplete it next year.
