\n\u201cfake\u201d ahead of the Irishman\u2019s first title bout in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Garry has emerged as a polarizing figure in recent years for a
\nvariety of reasons, including frequently switching gyms and
\nallegations about his marriage. The former
\nCage Warriors<\/a> champ\u2019s recent claim that women are better suited
\nto run the world is the latest remark that has drawn reactions from
\nprominent fighters, including Till and Garry\u2019s next opponent,
\nIslam
\nMakhachev<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ian Garry’s comments about women continue to fuel criticism
\nahead of UFC 330<\/h2>\n

Garry\u2019s comments came during a recent podcast appearance in which
\nhe claimed that if men listened to women and let them take over the
\nworld, it would be a better place.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the world was run by women, we\u2019d all live in a better world,\u201d
\nGarry said on the \u201cHigh Performance\u201d podcast. \u201cIf we just listened
\nto them and let them take over, it would be an easier world.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Till, who has four daughters, acknowledges women\u2019s power, he
\nclaims Garry is just trying to \u201cbuy love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not a hateful guy. I don\u2019t hate Ian Garry,\u201d Till told The Mac
\nLife. \u201cBut I just think every time that guy speaks, he just
\nabsolutely tarnishes his brand, his image, by what he\u2019s talking
\nabout. Look, I\u2019m a guy for the power of the women. I have four
\ngirls and my missus and stuff like that. Powerful women, of course,
\nwe love that, but it\u2019s just the things he says. And it\u2019s always
\nlike he\u2019s trying to buy love. If he was a bit more like me, mate,
\npeople would love him, because he\u2019s obviously a great fighter.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Briton sees Garry\u2019s public persona as inauthentic and believes
\nthat fans can see right through it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe one thing as well, people can see and know a fake guy,\u201d Till
\nadded. \u201cAnd he\u2019s got fake written all over him. For me he has,
\nanyway.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garry will face Makhachev for the welterweight title at UFC
\n330<\/a> on Aug. 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. The
\nreigning welterweight champion has also weighed in on Garry\u2019s
\nrecent comments, questioning whether the challenger\u2019s wife has
\ninfluenced his opinions.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe looks very bad in this interview. Better he does training more
\nand less interview,\u201d Makhachev told MMA Junkie. \u201cIt looks like
\nsomebody in the house controls him and tells him what to say in the
\ninterview.\u201d<\/p>\n
