Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a> is confident Movsar
\nEvloev<\/a> will be the next challenger for his
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> title.<\/p>\n

Volkanovski (28-4) was originally expected to defend his title
\nagainst Evloev (20-0) after winning the vacant title against
\nDiego
\nLopes<\/a> last year to begin his second reign. However, Lopes, who
\nhad already lost to Evloev, was controversially booked for a
\nrematch against Volkanovski, who defeated the Brazilian yet again
\nin January.<\/p>\n

Movsar Evloev\u2019s undefeated UFC run has Volkanovski preparing
\nfor a potential featherweight title fight<\/h2>\n

Volkanovski seems confident that his next title defense will be
\nagainst Evloev, who is 10-0 in the UFC, although winning all his
\nOctagon outings via decision. The Australian champ is currently in
\nThailand and putting in some wrestling work to prepare for the
\nundefeated Russian.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s pretty obvious it\u2019s probably going to be Movsar,\u201d Volkanovski
\nsaid on his YouTube channel. \u201cSo, I get all that wrestling in nice
\nand early. Did a bit of a grappling session afterwards as well,
\nthen did a couple of live rounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Volkanovski defended the featherweight title five times in his
\nfirst title run before losing to Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a> in 2024. \u201cThe Great\u201d reclaimed the vacant title against
\nLopes when Topuria moved up to lightweight. Meanwhile, Evloev\u2019s
\nlast four wins came against Lerone
\nMurphy<\/a>, Aljamain
\nSterling<\/a>, Arnold
\nAllen<\/a> and Lopes.<\/p>\n
