The Tijuana native<br \/>\ncaptured the super cruiserweight championship following a<br \/>\nfirst-round knockout victory over Alex Wilson at BKB 53. Standing<br \/>\nopposite Fernandez will be Podmore, one of the most decorated<br \/>\nfighters in BKB history. The Birmingham native has held titles at<br \/>\nheavyweight, bridgerweight and cruiserweight, bringing his 9-4<br \/>\nbare-knuckle record into the matchup.<\/p>\n<p>The co-main event will crown a new super flyweight champion as<br \/>\nUlloa attempts to make history on home soil against Nguyen.<\/p>\n<p>A Puerto Vallarta native, Ulloa brings 18 years of combat sports<br \/>\nexperience into the contest. The switch-stance fighter enters with<br \/>\na 2-1 (1 NC) BKB record and was previously ranked as the No. 1<br \/>\nflyweight in bare-knuckle boxing. Her opponent, Nguyen, enters with<br \/>\nextensive combat sports experience of her own.
