\nMakhachev<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> title challenger recently
\npraised Amosov\u2019s skill set, claiming the Ukrainian has the tools to
\ntrouble Makhachev, labeling it a \u201cnightmare\u201d matchup for the
\nDagestani.<\/p>\n

Jorge Masvidal claims Yaroslav Amosov has the skills to beat
\nall UFC welterweights<\/h2>\n

Amosov (30-1) has made an immediate impact since joining the UFC,
\nearning submission victories over Neil Magny<\/a>
\nand Joel
\nAlvarez<\/a> in his first two Octagon outings. Masvidal, who long
\nrepresented
\nAmerican Top Team<\/a>, where Amosov trains, is all praise for the
\nformer Bellator<\/a>
\nchamp.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a bad fight for everybody,\u201d Masvidal said on \u201cDeep Waters.\u201d
\n\u201cEven Makhachev, all the way down to No. 10, Yaroslav is that good.
\nHe\u2019s a bad fight for all these guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a>, another American Top Team product who previously
\ntrained with the Ukrainian, also described Amosov as a challenging
\nmatchup for the current welterweight king and Masvidal echoed the
\nformer interim champion\u2019s assessment. \u201cGamebred\u201d then broke down
\nthe matchup, pointing out advantages Amosov has over Makhachev.<\/p>\n

\u201cNightmare for Makhachev,\u201d Masvidal added. \u201cBigger, longer, and I\u2019m
\ngoing to say probably stronger, as well. And his wrestling. He\u2019s
\nalso, I think, a two-time world champion in Sambo, something like
\nthis. He\u2019s going to be all right with the body locks, the foot
\nsweeps, the in-close fighting that Makhachev does. Yaroslav will be
\nable to outshine him probably.\u201d<\/p>\n
