Ruffy will face his biggest step up in competition in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> when he squares off against
\nTsarukyan at UFC 331<\/a>
\non Sept. 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The Brazilian
\nbelieves a win over Tsarukyan warrants a title shot next.<\/p>\n

Mauricio Ruffy believes a UFC 331 win over Arman Tsarukyan
\ncould earn him a lightweight title opportunity<\/h2>\n

Ruffy claims he isn\u2019t feeling any pressure following the
\nannouncement of the lightweight booking and vows to hunt for a
\nknockout win over \u201cAhalkalakets\u201d in the UFC 331 co-headliner. As he
\ndid with his last bout, Ruffy\u2019s training camp will soon commence in
\nAustralia under the guidance of Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWinning this fight takes us straight to the title,\u201d Ruffy said on
\nhis Instagram Stories in Portuguese. \u201cAnd that\u2019s it; let\u2019s go and
\ngive it our all. I don’t feel pressure at all. I feel privileged,
\nvery grateful to God for all this. I’m going there for the
\nknockout\u2026 I don’t want to leave the octagon without that result.
\nI\u2019m leaving now. I\u2019m going to Australia to do the full camp
\nthere.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ruffy (14-2) has finished five of his six UFC wins so far and has
\nonly lost to Benoit St.
\nDenis<\/a> inside the Octagon. The 30-year-old is coming off
\nfinishes over Rafael
\nFiziev<\/a> and Michael
\nChandler<\/a>. Meanwhile, Tsarukyan is on a five-fight win streak,
\n10-2 in the UFC and finished Dan Hooker<\/a> in
\nhis last bout.<\/p>\n
