Cris
\nCyborg<\/a> has brought in fellow women’s combat sports pioneer
\nHolly
\nHolm<\/a> to prepare for her upcoming fight in the
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cyborg (29-2) is scheduled to take on Ketlen
\nVieira<\/a> (16-5) on Aug. 22 at Benchmark International Arena in
\nTampa, Florida. Former
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> champion Holm is now helping the
\nBrazilian gear up for Vieira. Cyborg and Holm competed at UFC
\n219<\/a>, with the Brazilian taking the victory via unanimous
\ndecision in a hard-fought match.<\/p>\n

Cris Cyborg prepares for Ketlen Vieira fight with Holly Holm\u2019s

Cyborg considers her
\nPFL Tampa<\/a> opponent one of the \u201ctoughest tests\u201d of her career
\nand believes Holm\u2019s elite experience will give her an
\nadvantage.<\/p>\n

\u201cHolly brings a unique perspective and elite-level experience that
\nonly someone who has shared the cage with top competition can
\nprovide,\u201d Cyborg said in a press release. \u201cPreparing alongside a
\nfighter of Holly\u2019s caliber gives me an added edge as I face one of
\nthe toughest tests of my career. This is a dangerous opponent and I
\nam treating it with the seriousness it deserves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cyborg hasn\u2019t lost in nine straight outings since her defeat to
\nAmanda
\nNunes<\/a> in the UFC in 2018. This also marks the last fight on her
\ncurrent PFL contract. Meanwhile, Vieira went 10-5 in the UFC before
\nbeing released from the promotion this past May, despite winning
\nher last fight.<\/p>\n
