It seems that
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> fans will be waiting a while to
\nsee Dakota
\nDitcheva<\/a> compete again.<\/p>\n

Dakota Ditcheva reinjured both hands against Denise Kielholtz
\nat PFL New York and expects to be sidelined before a potential Liz
\nCarmouche fight<\/h2>\n

Ditcheva (16-0, 11-0 PFL) is once again dealing with hand injuries.
\nThe 28-year-old earned a unanimous decision victory over Bellator
\nMMA<\/a> veteran Denise
\nKielholtz<\/a> in the PFL New York<\/a> co-main event, with \u201cDangerous\u201d
\nsweeping the scorecards. The British fighter,
\nwho is ranked No. 10 in Sherdog\u2019s women\u2019s pound-for-pound
\nrankings<\/a>, revealed on her YouTube channel that she had
\nreinjured both hands.<\/p>\n

\u201cBreaking news. I am injured again,\u201d Ditcheva said in the vlog<\/a>. \u201cI
\nbroke my hands in the [Kielholtz] fight. I could feel it from the
\nsecond I started the second round. I didn’t tell my corner. I
\ndidn’t tell anybody. I didn’t show it this time. And I didn’t
\nactually tell anybody until I got out of the cage.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kielholtz bout was Ditcheva\u2019s first fight in more than a year,
\nfollowing her dominant victory against Sumiko
\nInaba<\/a> in July 2025. Against Inaba, the
\nAmerican Top Team<\/a> representative broke her hands for the first
\ntime. She suffered another hand injury early this year, forcing her
\nout of a scheduled meeting with Kielholtz at PFL Dubai in February
\nbefore the fight was eventually rebooked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am back in splints until my surgeon has decided what the next
\nsteps are going forward, which will be in the next few days,\u201d she
\nadded. \u201cThe good thing is I have no new breaks. It’s just that if I
\nexplained the hand that wasn’t operated on originally that I broke
\nat the end of last year, I was told that if I didn’t go ahead with
\nthe surgery at that time, there was a possibility that it would
\nbreak again in my fight. Unfortunately, I took the risk in not
\ndoing the surgery because I was hoping that it would hold strong
\nwithout intervening with that kind of thing, and it didn\u2019t. It’s no
\nnew injury.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ditcheva said she expects to be sidelined for \u201ca little bit.\u201d When
\nshe returns, she is expected to meet 2025 tournament champion
\nLiz
\nCarmouche<\/a> in a highly anticipated matchup.<\/p>\n
