Marwan
\nRahiki<\/a> believes Tommy
\nMcMillen<\/a>\u2019s record-setting performance reflects a lack of
\nknockout power.<\/p>\n

Rahiki (9-0) and McMillen (11-0) will put their undefeated records
\non the line at
\nNoche UFC 4<\/a> on Sept. 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale,
\nArizona. In his last outing, McMillen set a new record for
\nsignificant strikes in an
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> three-round bout, but Rahiki is
\nfar from impressed.<\/p>\n

Marwan Rahiki questions Tommy McMillen\u2019s knockout power ahead
\nof Noche UFC 4<\/h2>\n

Rahiki welcomed the matchup despite the relatively short
\nturnaround. He\u2019s 2-0 in the UFC and is excited at the prospect of
\nfighting McMillen, who also has a ton of hype behind him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was surprised, but at the same time, I’m not that surprised,\u201d
\nRahiki told MMA Junkie. \u201cThis is the most exciting fight I’ve ever
\nhad. The first time I heard the name, I was like, ‘Wow.’ So happy
\n— I don’t remember myself being so happy with a fight, with the
\nopponent. I’ve always wanted to fight the best guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

McMillen earned his second bonus in the UFC for his last bout, in
\nwhich he drowned Alberto
\nMontes<\/a> with strikes before finding a late finish in the third
\nround, setting a new record. Rahiki, however, claims significant
\nstrike-based records aren\u2019t statistics to be proud of.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen someone breaks a significant strikes record, as I see it\u2026
\nFinish the fight in the first round,\u201d Rahiki explained. \u201cI don’t
\ncare about significants. I never think, \u2018I’m going to land the more
\nsignificant strikes.\u2019 That means you don’t have knockout power.
\nThat means it takes you that long. It doesn’t take me that long to
\nfinish and that’s the goal this fight: Go in there to knock him out
\nin the first round. Go in there to knock him out. If he comes
\nforward, it will be done quick. If he stays smart, he might survive
\na couple of minutes. But the result will be the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rahiki also expects McMillen’s aggressive style to make for an
\nentertaining matchup.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s an entertaining fight, an entertaining style and someone who
\nisn’t just going to try to run away,\u201d Rahiki added. \u201cI think it
\nwill be a great night for Noche UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n
