\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> career in front of a hometown
\ncrowd.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old recently announced that his upcoming bout at
\nUFC 332<\/a>
\nwill be the final fight of his career. The event is scheduled for
\nOct. 3 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, although McGee\u2019s opponent
\nhas not yet been revealed.<\/p>\n

Court McGee prepares for retirement after nearly three decades
\nof UFC fights<\/h2>\n

McGee (22-14) has enjoyed considerable success competing in his
\nhome state, posting a 10-1 record in Utah so far. Furthermore, he\u2019s
\n2-0 in Utah while competing in the UFC. \u201cThe Crusher\u201d announced his
\nupcoming retirement in a video posted to Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cI signed my final contract,\u201d McGee said. \u201cI’ve negotiated my last
\neither five or six contracts, usually four-fight deals — actually,
\nall of them are four-fight deals, but I signed my last fight in my
\nlast four-fight contract. I was going to retire before I had my
\nneck surgery, and I had it, and I came back and renegotiated and
\nthis will be my final fight in my four-fight contract.\u201d<\/p>\n

McGee won \u201cThe Ultimate Fighter\u201d in 2010, beating Kris McCray<\/a>
\nin the finals to earn his first UFC contract. He\u2019s since had 28
\nfights inside the Octagon, picking up wins over the likes of
\nJosh
\nNeer<\/a>, Robert
\nWhittaker<\/a> and Tim Means<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201c41 years old, I’ve been competing in the UFC since 2010 with the
\nfour fights in ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ house, Season 11,\u201d he added.
\n\u201cThis will make it my 29th UFC fight. A little nostalgic and it
\nwill be here in Salt Lake City. So, that’s exciting and
\npreparations are underway for what will be my retirement
\nfight.\u201d<\/p>\n
