\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> matchmakers on Week 1 of

\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> 2026.<\/p>\n

Joseph Kropschot, Tom Pagliarulo, Bilal Hasan and Anthony Wint
\nearn UFC contracts at DWCS 2026 Week 1<\/h2>\n

Joseph
\nKropschot<\/a> (9-3) opened the action in a middleweight outing
\nagainst Jonathan
\nKunneman<\/a> (10-1). Kropschot dislocated Kunneman\u2019s elbow with an
\narmbar in the final seconds of the fight. He earned a unanimous
\ndecision win after his opponent refused to tap. Kropschot\u2019s intent
\nto finish was enough for White to give him a UFC contract.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he got that armbar, I said, \u2018I\u2019m gonna give him a shot.\u2019 31
\nyears old, he went for the finish. I\u2019m always looking for guys to
\nfinish,\u201d White said. \u201cThat fight should have been finished\u2026 Joseph,
\nyou went for it and you swayed me and changed my mind.
\nCongratulations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom
\nPagliarulo<\/a> (11-2) was the second fighter to earn a contract on
\nWeek 1. The featherweight prospect finished Ananias
\nMulumba<\/a> (10-4) with vicious ground-and-pound in the final
\nseconds of the fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cThomas, you were in a dog fight; turned it on in the third round,
\nand finished a really tough kid,\u201d White said. \u201cCongratulations,
\nyou\u2019re in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former
\nCage Fury Fighting Championships<\/a> flyweight champion Bilal Hasan<\/a>
\n(9-0) was a -5000 favorite going into his matchup against Mridul
\nSaikia<\/a> (9-2). Hassan absolutely justified the odds by
\ndispatching Saikia in 45 seconds to earn his UFC contract. White
\ncan\u2019t wait for Hasan\u2019s first UFC bout.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an absolute no-brainer. Even with the ton of hype,
\nabsolutely lived up to it,\u201d the UFC CEO said. \u201cWhen you\u2019re the
\nbiggest favorite in the history of the Contender Series, 10 years.
\nThat\u2019s how you treat somebody, and you absolutely did. I\u2019m excited
\nto see your future. I\u2019m really pumped for your first fight in the
\nUFC.\u201d<\/p>\n

Abe
\nAlsaghir<\/a> (9-0) earned a split decision win in a lightweight
\ntilt against Fabrizio
\nEscarrega<\/a> (9-2). While both fighters went toe-to-toe, White
\nbelieves neither fighter stood out to earn a contract. The UFC head
\nhoncho also disagreed with the judges\u2019 scorecards on this one.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually thought this was a dog fight between two tough guys
\nwith great records,\u201d White recalled. \u201cAnd the third round was where
\nI was looking to see who was going to be my guy, and it never
\nhappened. And I don\u2019t agree with the judges. I don\u2019t think you won
\nthat fight. I think the judges absolutely blew that decision. And I
\njust didn\u2019t see anything that I was looking for.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anthony
\nWint<\/a> (7-0) earned the final contract of the night with a
\nfirst-round stoppage win over Matthew
\nAdams<\/a> (6-3). The heavyweight powerhouse took hardly over 30
\nseconds to reverse a takedown and rain brutal ground-and-pound to
\nsecure the stoppage.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnthony, you\u2019re a f*cking tank, my friend\u2026 Holy sh*t!\u201d White said.
\n\u201cI didn\u2019t get to see much, but what I got to see was pretty nasty.
\nAnd I have a long history with your coach, who has nothing but good
\nthings to say about you. Welcome to the UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n
