\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> strawweight title bout.<\/p>\n

The two are set to lock horns for Dern\u2019s 115-pound championship at
\nXfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on Aug. 15. The champ recently
\nclaimed that she neither likes nor dislikes Robertson because they
\ndon’t know each other well. The challenger has now accused Dern of
\nbacktracking on past comments.<\/p>\n

Bad blood is brewing between Gillian Robertson and Mackenzie
\nDern<\/h2>\n

Robertson (16-5) opened up about the tension between her and Dern
\n(17-8) during media day ahead of UFC
\n330<\/a>. The Canadian claims Dern previously downplayed her
\njiu-jitsu but isn\u2019t carrying the same energy into fight week.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was making comments all through the camp about how she doesn’t
\nknow me, she doesn’t think my jiu-jitsu’s good, and all this
\nstuff,\u201d Robertson said. \u201cNow she’s like, \u2018Oh, no, it’s not
\nanything. It’s not that I don’t like her.\u2019 I’m like, \u2018Why are we
\ntrying to take this back now?\u2019 You’re talking all this sh*t through
\ncamp. Keep that same energy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robertson made it clear she has no interest in putting the issue
\naside before the fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t like her right now,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Robertson enters her first UFC title fight riding a five-fight
\nwinning streak, while Dern has won her last three. Both
\nstrawweights are known for their submissions and claim their
\ngrappling is superior, a growing talking point going into the
\nco-headliner.<\/p>\n
