The former two-division UFC champion recently crossed paths with
\nNurmagomedov at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. The unbeaten
\nDagestani is now a free agent after exhausting his contract with
\nthe
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> and Cormier has directly
\nchallenged him to test himself against the UFC’s best.<\/p>\n

Daniel Cormier wants PFL free agent Usman Nurmagomedov to face
\nthe UFC’s best<\/h2>\n

Nurmagomedov (22-0) stopped Archie
\nColgan<\/a> in the final bout of his PFL contract. Amidst the
\npromotion\u2019s merger with
\nMost Valuable Promotions<\/a>, he\u2019ll likely be offered a bumper new
\ncontract to return, as PFL still has a limited exclusive
\nnegotiation window before the UFC can make an offer.<\/p>\n

Nurmagomedov appeared to question the level of competition
\navailable to him in the UFC, calling top-ranked lightweights \u201cbums\u201d
\nwhile talking to Cormier after UFC 330. The Hall of Famer then
\nclaimed that money should no longer be the primary goal for the
\nRussian and that the time has come for him to start beating big
\nnames.<\/p>\n
