\nPFL Tampa<\/a> at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa in what
\nwill reportedly be her MMA retirement fight.<\/p>\n

Cris Cyborg reflects on her career approach before PFL
\nTampa<\/h2>\n

Cyborg has established herself among the sport’s elite. With
\nchampionships across multiple major promotions and more than two
\ndecades of competition behind her, the Brazilian has increasingly
\nfocused on the impact she can have on women’s mixed martial
\narts.<\/p>\n

In a video posted by the PFL, Cyborg explained one of the biggest
\nmotivations of her career: making women\u2019s MMA exciting.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people didn\u2019t believe in girls’ fights,\u201d Cyborg said.
\n\u201c’Ah, girls fight terrible.’ I tried to show the opposite. I wanted
\nto do exciting fights like the guys do exciting fights. Finish the
\nfight. This is what motivated me. What I feel now, I feel very
\nblessed. The sport changed my life. Not just because I am the
\nchampion, but I think it shows a lot of different ways to live my
\nlife.\u201d<\/p>\n
