Arman
\nTsarukyan<\/a> believes fighters without exciting fighting styles
\nneed to somehow find a way to draw attention.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan recently emphasized the importance of building a profile
\noutside the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> for fighters who are unable to
\nfind regular finishes or have control-heavy styles.<\/p>\n

Arman Tsarukyan discusses controversy, UFC promotion and

Tsarukyan, who returns to the Octagon on Sept. 19 against Mauricio
\nRuffy<\/a> in the UFC
\n331<\/a> co-main event, believes controversy can help fighters who
\ndon’t naturally attract fans with their performances.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re a boring fighter inside the cage, controversies are
\nimportant for you,\u201d Tsarukyan said in an interview with Russian
\nYouTube channel Vpiska. \u201cBecause if you\u2019re not here, you\u2019re not
\nthere; you get cut from the game fast. But if you\u2019re a great
\nfighter and you knock people out and show that, you don\u2019t even need
\nto talk English.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Armenian lightweight has increased his visibility outside the
\npromotion through social media and appearances for Real American
\nFreestyle, as well as his public association with streamer Nina
\nDrama. Despite his growing profile, Tsarukyan doesn’t believe the
\nUFC has played a major role in turning him into a recognizable name
\nand says he\u2019ll reach a whole new level once he\u2019s the champ.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, [I\u2019m not a UFC star] because people know me not from the UFC
\npushing me,\u201d Tsarukyan added. \u201cThey know me because of myself. UFC
\nhasn\u2019t really put the work in to make me a star yet. When they
\nstart working on me and start promoting me, then I\u2019ll be a UFC
\nstar\u2026 When I become a champion, the promotion will be on a whole
\ndifferent level from the UFC themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n
