\nde Ridder<\/a> is an intriguing clash of styles.<\/p>\n

Dolidze is moving up to 205 pounds after spending most of his

\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> career at middleweight. The
\nGeorgian said the division suits him physically, particularly after
\nyears of dealing with the demands of making 185 pounds.<\/p>\n

Roman Dolidze expects his grappling and physicality to be
\ntested against Reinier de Ridder at UFC Sacramento<\/h2>\n

Both Dolidze and de Ridder are primarily known for their grappling,
\nand the former is excited by the matchup and opportunity to prove
\nhe\u2019s better.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think stylistically this fight is very interesting because he’s
\nalso a very good grappler,\u201d Dolidze said at UFC Sacramento media
\nday. \u201cTall, strong guy and not bad in striking. But I think I’m
\nmuch more powerful and we’ll compete, compare our grappling, let’s
\nsee.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dolidze previously called for a fight against de Ridder when they
\nwere middleweights and he\u2019s \u201cvery happy\u201d the matchup has come to
\nfruition.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was waiting for something, some names in 205 and he was the
\nfirst name that they offered and I was very happy,\u201d Dolidze
\nadded.<\/p>\n

His opponent is also committing to a light heavyweight move after
\nback-to-back losses at 185 pounds.<\/p>\n
