Namo
\nFazil<\/a> is at the center of several controversies after his
\nfailed bid at an
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> contract.<\/p>\n

Coming off a win on the inaugural
\nMost Valuable Promotions<\/a> MMA card, Fazil had a lot of hype
\ngoing into his
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> outing against Kaik Brito<\/a>.
\nFazil had also trash-talked quite a bit in the lead-up to the bout,
\nin which Brito put him to sleep in the final round.<\/p>\n

Robert Valentin alleges Namo Fazil tried to choke him during a
\nconfrontation in 2023<\/h2>\n

Fazil has since claimed that his performance was affected by an
\n
\nassault during his weight cut<\/a>. He was allegedly confronted by
\n15 Chechens in his hotel room while cutting weight. The alleged
\nattack was seemingly triggered by Fazil\u2019s comments against Chechnya
\nahead of his win over Chechen fighter Yakub
\nSulimanov<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

\nValentin<\/a> has since accused Fazil of attacking him in Thailand
\nin 2023. Valentin had allegedly pushed away one of Fazil\u2019s friends
\nwho had threatened to slap him. Fazil then tried to choke out
\nValentin, who claims to have thrown him off, resulting in a vase
\nbreaking. The cafe where the incident took place was owned by
\nFazil\u2019s then-girlfriend\u2019s mother, who threatened to call the cops
\non Valentin.<\/p>\n

While the incident did not escalate after Valentin walked away,
\nFazil reportedly kept saying that he had choked out the Swiss
\nfighter.<\/p>\n

\u201cNamo Fazil complained about getting attacked in the hotel,\u201d
\nValentin said on Instagram Stories. \u201cThis motherf*cker attacked me
\ntoo. But that went backwards. Phuket, 2023, probably; one of his
\nfriends told me that he\u2019s gonna slap me in the face. So, I got up,
\nbear-hugged him and pushed him away. Namo came out of the cafe,
\njumped on my back, tried to choke me, I threw him over, he fell, we
\nbroke a vase. Then his then-girlfriend\u2019s mother, who owned the
\nshop, told me to f*ck off or they would call the police. Nothing
\nhappened; I went away. Then later he kept telling my manager back
\nthen that he choked me out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Valentin also accused Fazil of attacking other people who were not
\ntrained and had no affiliation with any fighters. He even shared a
\nvideo where a man can be seen threatening to stab someone with a
\nkitchen knife. The man can be seen running towards another with a
\nkitchen knife before slipping and falling over.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then coming back to complaining about being attacked — it\u2019s
\nthe same guy that did this to harmless people, non-fighters,\u201d
\nValentin added. \u201cPeople that have nothing to do with fighters. So,
\neach gets what they deserve; karma comes back one time. Being loud,
\ntalking all that trash might sell some seats, might get you
\nrecognized, but the internet never forgets, my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
