\nVallejos<\/a> claims he\u2019s one win away from entering the
\nfeatherweight title mix in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> after the recent change to
\n
\nNoche UFC 4<\/a>\u2019s main event.<\/p>\n

Jean
\nSilva<\/a> was originally scheduled to headline the fourth edition
\nof Noche UFC against Yair
\nRodriguez<\/a> on Sept. 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale,
\nArizona. However, Jose
\nDelgado<\/a> will now replace Rodriguez, who pulled out for
\nundisclosed reasons.<\/p>\n

Yair Rodriguez’s withdrawal changes the stakes surrounding Jean
\nSilva’s next fight<\/h2>\n

The matchup between Silva and Rodriguez was seemingly an unofficial
\nfeatherweight title eliminator, with both top-ranked 145-pounders
\ncoming off wins in their last outings.<\/p>\n

However, Delgado is still green in the UFC with a 4-0 Octagon
\nrecord. Despite Silva\u2019s ascent in the promotion, a win over Delgado
\ndoesn\u2019t carry as much weight as beating the former interim champ.
\nVallejos recently hinted that he is expecting the next
\nfeatherweight title shot with one more victory.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt looks like we get the title shot if we win next,\u201d Vallejos
\nposted on X.<\/p>\n

Notably, Silva earned his UFC contract with a hard-fought unanimous
\ndecision win in a barnburner against Vallejos on
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> in 2023. That Brazilian rebounded
\nfrom his lone loss in the UFC with a unanimous decision win over
\nArnold
\nAllen<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n

Vallejos eventually earned his UFC contract on DWCS in 2024. He has
\nquickly ascended the rankings with four straight wins, including
\nthree finishes. The Argentinian is coming off bonus-winning
\nfinishes over Giga
\nChikadze<\/a> and Josh Emmett<\/a>.
\n\u201cEl Chino\u201d has repeatedly called for a chance to avenge his lone
\nloss against Silva.<\/p>\n
