Thomas announced his retirement from cornering following his

\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> strawweight title bid against
\nMackenzie
\nDern<\/a> at UFC
\n330<\/a>. He did so on the post-show on live television, drawing
\nsignificant backlash from both fans and fighters. While he\u2019s since
\napologized for his handling of the situation, Thomas is still
\ncatching strays.<\/p>\n

Din Thomas confirms he will corner Sean Brady after retiring
\nfrom cornering<\/h2>\n

Another fighter Thomas mentors, Sean Brady<\/a>,
\nis scheduled to take on Gabriel
\nBonfim<\/a> in the main event of a
\nUFC Fight Night<\/a> on Nov. 7 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas. While
\nspeaking about Brady on the \u201cDeep Waters\u201d podcast, Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> jokingly reminded Thomas that he is retired from
\ncornering.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, he doesn\u2019t corner anyone anymore,\u201d Poirier said.<\/p>\n

\nWeidman<\/a> then asked Thomas if he would be in Brady\u2019s corner on
\nNov. 7. Thomas confirmed that he will indeed corner the
\nwelterweight contender, drawing mockery from Weidman.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the quickest damn retirement I\u2019ve seen in my entire life,\u201d
\nWeidman said. \u201cAre you messing with us?\u201d<\/p>\n

\nMasvidal<\/a> then chimed in, claiming that he had previously
\ndefended Thomas and can\u2019t do so anymore.<\/p>\n

\u201cDin, I went to war for you, telling everybody I understand why you
\nretired,\u201d Masvidal said. \u201cI can\u2019t save you anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

Poirier roasted Thomas again, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cSo now I know why Gillian Robertson is upset.\u201d<\/p>\n
