Makhachev tried to pop Magomedov\u2019s shoulder back in place after an
\napparent in-fight dislocation, drawing a reaction from a real
\ndoctor online.<\/p>\n

Magomedov faced former UFC bantamweight Daniel
\nMarcos<\/a> in the latter’s promotional debut at
\nPFL Tampa<\/a>. The Russian seemingly suffered a shoulder
\ndislocation and during the break between rounds, Makhachev
\nattempted to put it back into position.<\/p>\n

Despite the attempt, the shoulder remained a problem for Magomedov
\ngoing into the third round and Makhachev ultimately had to call for
\nthe fight to stop, throwing in the towel. The UFC welterweight
\nchamp\u2019s attempt to fix Magomedov’s shoulder drew the attention of
\nsports physician Dr. Brian Sutterer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis should be the go to reference for everything you do to NOT be
\nsuccessful in putting a shoulder back,\u201d Dr. Sutterer wrote on X,
\nreposting the clip of Makhachev trying to fix Magomedov\u2019s
\nshoulder.<\/p>\n
