Dana
\nWhite<\/a> acknowledged that a serious incident involving Namo Fazil<\/a>
\noccurred behind the scenes, but declined to discuss the details of
\nwhat happened.<\/p>\n

Fazil alleged last week that he was confronted by a group of
\nChechens while preparing for his
\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> bout with Kaik Brito<\/a>.
\nAccording to Fazil, the incident interrupted his weight cut and
\nescalated into a physical altercation that eventually drew police
\nattention. The
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> CEO has now addressed the
\nincident.<\/p>\n

White was asked about the incident at the
\nUFC Sacramento<\/a> post-fight press conference and acknowledged
\nthat the promotion is aware of what happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou guys have no idea how much sh*t goes on in this business
\nbehind the scenes and I said at the press conference that we had
\nkind of a weird week here,\u201d White said.<\/p>\n

White was also asked whether UFC fighter Baisangur
\nSusurkaev<\/a> would face any consequences after the latter hinted
\nat his involvement in the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t even talk about it,\u201d White added. \u201cYou guys wouldn\u2019t even
\nknow if he didn\u2019t talk about it. We handled it behind the scenes
\nand that\u2019s the business we\u2019re in. Lots of crazy sh*t happens every
\nday in this business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fazil went on to lose via knockout, which was later celebrated
\nonline by several fighters, including former UFC champ Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a>.<\/p>\n
