\nprepare for the biggest fight of her career.<\/p>\n

The
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> recently shared a photo showing
\nBishop training with Ronda
\nRousey<\/a> ahead of the former\u2019s rematch with Liz
\nCarmouche<\/a> for the inaugural PFL women’s flyweight
\nchampionship.<\/p>\n

Jena Bishop challenges Liz Carmouche for the inaugural PFL
\nwomen\u2019s flyweight championship after training with Ronda
\nRousey<\/h2>\n

Bishop will face Carmouche in the main event of
\nPFL Chicago<\/a> on Oct. 16 at Wintrust Arena. The bout will crown
\nthe promotion’s first women’s flyweight champion and mark its first
\nnew title since the PFL’s merger with
\nMost Valuable Promotions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The clash is a rematch of last year’s PFL women’s flyweight
\ntournament final. Carmouche stopped Bishop in the third round of
\nthat meeting, but the latter has since rebounded with victories
\nover Borena
\nTsertsvadze<\/a> and Ariane
\nLipski da Silva<\/a>. Carmouche enters following a submission win
\nover Viviane
\nAraujo<\/a> in June.<\/p>\n

Rousey, who became the face of women’s MMA during her UFC run, also
\nhas a history with Carmouche, having defeated her at UFC
\n157<\/a> in 2013, in the first defense of her UFC women’s
\nbantamweight title and her Octagon debut.<\/p>\n
