Claressa
\nShields<\/a> has revealed why a boxing bout against Cris
\nCyborg<\/a> fell through.<\/p>\n

During a recent interview, Shields discussed a previous offer for
\nthe proposed Cyborg fight, which the Brazilian allegedly turned
\ndown.<\/p>\n

Shields says a sparring session changed her relationship with
\nCris Cyborg<\/h2>\n

Shields claims Cyborg turned down a $2 million offer to box her,
\ndespite them being on good terms.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut as far as Cris, she turned $2 million already back when a guy
\nfrom Saudi had $3 million for her,\u201d Shields told TMZ Sports. \u201cWell,
\n$3 million for me and $2 million for her and we could [do that at]\n154 [pounds]. She turned it down and that’s back when we were
\ncool.\u201d<\/p>\n

The American now claims that they aren\u2019t on good terms, speculating
\nthat the bad blood stems from a previous training session, which
\nShields claims to have dominated.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight now, she got all this, \u2018Oh, she don’t like me,\u2019\u201d Shields
\nadded. \u201cI think she don’t like me because I whooped her a*s in
\nsparring. That’s what happened. She got like this edited clip that
\nshe begged me to let her and her team put together. But I had every
\nround when we sparred and I know for a fact she was a deer in
\nheadlights. I beat her. Yeah. Yes. It was easy work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shields recently finished Kay Scott to win the WBA and WBC female
\nmiddleweight titles, while Cyborg beat Ketlen
\nVieira<\/a> in his last mixed martial arts bout in the
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a>.<\/p>\n
