\nDana White\u2019s Contender Series<\/a> bout sooner than he did.<\/p>\n

Clancy Jr. (9-0) took on Gary
\nBalletto Jr.<\/a> (11-4) in a welterweight clash on
\nWeek 3<\/a> of DWCS 2026. Clancy Jr. took Balletto Jr. down in the
\nsecond round and blasted him with elbows to earn a stoppage and an
\n
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> contract.<\/p>\n

Sean Clancy Jr. says he sought experience before finishing Gary
\nBalletto Jr.<\/h2>\n

Clancy Jr. says he felt Balletto Jr.\u2019s face get crushed between his
\nelbow and the mat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m buzzing, yeah, I’ve always wanted to put something open like
\nthat,\u201d Clancy Jr. said in his post-fight interview. \u201cIt was, aye,
\nit’s something I’ve wanted for a while. I remember being so
\npresent; it just, as soon as I put it down, I just felt his face
\njust get crushed in between my elbow and the mat. It was
\nphenomenal. Just split wide open. It’s the first time I’ve done it,
\nbut aye, here’s to many more.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old also claims he chose to gain some striking
\nexperience against Balletto Jr. in the first round. \u201cThe One\u201d is
\nconfident he can finish anyone the way he finished his counterpart
\nin the second frame.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I’m only a 23-year-old boy, like people forget that,\u201d Clancy
\nJr. added. \u201cForget that I’m looking to try and pick up experience
\nin there. That’s where he’s good, so I chose to spend a little bit
\nof time there with him and just see, just rack up experience and
\nstuff, you know? But I did in the second round, I can do that to
\nabsolutely anyone. I know I could have done that to him in the
\nfirst round. Just wanted to have fun. Pick up the experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clancy Jr., a former
\nCage Warriors<\/a> interim welterweight champion, has finished all
\nnine of his career wins so far.<\/p>\n
