Rodrigues extended his win streak in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> to four with his decision win
\nover Hernandez at
\nUFC Sacramento<\/a>. \u201cFluffy\u201d later accused the Brazilian of
\nrepeatedly grabbing the inside of his gloves and Rodrigues has now
\nresponded.<\/p>\n

Rodrigues responds to Anthony Hernandez\u2019s accusations after
\ntheir UFC Sacramento main event<\/h2>\n

Rodrigues did extensive damage to Hernandez\u2019s lead leg with calf
\nkicks, but the latter showed immense heart by continuing to
\npressure forward. However, Rodrigues inflicted damage while
\ndefending takedowns as well. At the post-fight presser, Hernandez
\naccused \u201cRobocop\u201d of grabbing his gloves in the wrestling exchanges
\nand claimed to have repeatedly complained to referee Herb Dean<\/a> to no
\navail.<\/p>\n

Rodrigues denies the accusations and says that Hernandez also knows
\nthat he didn\u2019t cheat. He argues that the referee would\u2019ve
\nintervened if he was blatantly cheating and it would also be seen
\non camera. While Rodrigues admits that he might have
\nunintentionally grabbed Hernandez\u2019s gloves, he believes he did
\nnothing illegal that changed the outcome of the fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can say whatever you want,\u201d Rodrigues told Ariel Helwani. \u201cThe
\nfact is that I beat him with the leg kicks. I punched him. He
\ndidn’t take me down. He didn’t do nothing. He put a pressure that
\nwas good, but I didn’t cheat him; he knows that\u2026 If that was clear,
\nprobably Herb Dean would probably say something or everyone’s gonna
\nsee it on the TV. Sometimes, involuntary, my hands grab his gloves,
\nbut it was nothing that would change the result of the fight. But
\nI\u2019m still the same. A lot of respect for him. I know he\u2019s a
\nwarrior.\u201d<\/p>\n
