\nDvalishvili<\/a> has never been happy for him.<\/p>\n

Makhachev (29-1) defended his
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> welterweight title for the first
\ntime with a unanimous decision win over Ian Garry<\/a> at
\nUFC
\n330<\/a>. Makhachev\u2019s team raised the Russian flag inside the
\nOctagon while he was being declared the winner, drawing the ire of
\nDvalishvili.<\/p>\n

Makhachev says Dvalishvili has never been happy about his
\nsuccess ahead of Yan-Dvalishvili III<\/h2>\n

Dvalishvili (21-5) was clearly unhappy to see the Russian flag
\nraised in the Octagon. \u201cThe Machine\u201d claims it is unfair, as he is
\nallegedly not allowed to raise the Georgian flag after wins.
\nDvalishvili also argues that the Russian flag is banned from most
\nsporting events due to the ongoing war with Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Responding to Dvalishvili, Makhachev says that the former UFC
\nbantamweight champion has never been happy to see him succeed.
\nMakhachev notes that Petr Yan<\/a>
\nraised the Russian flag after dethroning Dvalishvili last
\nDecember.<\/p>\n

Yan is scheduled to defend his title in a trilogy fight against
\nDvalishvili at
\nUFC 333<\/a> on Oct. 24 in Abu Dhabi. Makhachev hopes his countryman
\ndefeats Dvalishvili again and raises the Russian flag to shut him
\nup for good.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the very beginning, he wasn\u2019t happy about my success in the
\nOctagon,\u201d Makhachev said at a recent press conference. \u201cBut I don\u2019t
\npay attention to those things. He’s already spoken about this many
\ntimes. But Petr Yan beat him and raised the flag in the Octagon. I
\nthink [Yan] will beat him again now and silence him for good.\u201d<\/p>\n
