Alexandr Shabliy faces Landry Ward on Oct. 16 at PFL

Shabliy (25-4) has lost just once since 2017 and was on a
\nnine-fight win streak before coming up short against Nurmagomedov,
\nthe most recent PFL lightweight champ. He\u2019ll look to compile
\nanother win streak when he returns at PFL Chicago.<\/p>\n

His upcoming opponent, Landry Ward<\/a>
\n(11-3), is coming off a split-decision victory over Michael
\nBoylan<\/a> in his PFL debut on Aug. 7 and has won his last three
\nfights.<\/p>\n

The matchup joins a PFL Chicago card headlined by the women’s
\nflyweight title rematch between Liz
\nCarmouche<\/a> and Jena
\nBishop<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Apart from the main event and Shabliy vs. Ward, the promotion has
\nalso added fights between Denis
