Just hours after defeating Mauricio
\n\u201cShogun\u201d Rua<\/a> by unanimous decision in an eight-round boxing
\nmatch at Spaten Fight Night 3 in Sao Paulo, the former champ
\noffered his thoughts on Pereira’s future. Teixeira believes Hokit
\nis the ideal next opponent for \u201cPoatan\u201d in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Glover Teixeira wants Alex Pereira to settle his rivalry with
\nJosh Hokit in the UFC<\/h2>\n

When asked about Pereira vs. Hokit, Teixeira laid out his
\nprediction for how the bout will play out.<\/p>\n

\u201cPersonally, I would love to see him against Hokit,\u201d Teixeira said
\nin an interview with journalist Laerte Viana. \u201cI think this guy
\nspeaks a lot of bullsh*t and I believe \u2018Poatan\u2019 would knock him out
\nin the first round.\u201d<\/p>\n

Teixeira also indicated that Pereira is training regularly and
\nsimply waiting for his next assignment. The rivalry between the
\nBrazilian former two-division champ and the polarizing undefeated
\nAmerican intensified ahead of
\nUFC Freedom 250<\/a>, when Hokit made crude comments at the
\npre-fight presser.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Incredible Hok\u201d then called out Pereira in his post-fight
\ninterview after finishing Derrick
\nLewis<\/a> at the White House event.<\/p>\n
