Hearn has pushed back after Dana
\nWhite<\/a> recently addressed the ongoing discourse surrounding the
\nheavyweight matchup. The head of Matchroom Boxing discussed the
\ninvolvement of the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> CEO and Zuffa Boxing in putting
\ntogether the fight and clarified Joshua\u2019s stance on the same.<\/p>\n

\ncomplicates Tyson Fury fight talks<\/h2>\n

Hearn was asked about the highly anticipated Fury-Joshua bout after
\nthe Katie Taylor vs. Flora Pili press conference in Dublin,
\nIreland, and reiterated that, as per Joshua\u2019s contract, there\u2019s no
\nneed for Zuffa to get involved.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, or else there will be no fight and we\u2019ll just keep going,\u201d
\nHearn said at a media scrum captured by Bloody Elbow. \u201cYou have to
\nunderstand, right? AJ is one of my closest friends; AJ is a
\nshareholder of Matchroom. So, I know the narrative run by Tyson
\nFury is, \u2018Oh, Eddie\u2019s ego\u2026\u2019 No, no, no. We are a team, and AJ will
\nsay to me, \u2018Why are they involved?\u2019 I said, \u2018Exactly, so are you OK
\nwith them not being involved?\u2019 He says, \u2018Yeah.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Hearn also insists that the exclusion of White and TKO is not
\nsimply his personal preference.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, the responses in the addendum are not \u2018Eddie Hearn\u2019s wishes\u2019;
\nthey\u2019re Anthony Joshua\u2019s wishes,\u201d Hearn added. \u201cThe addendum
\ndoesn\u2019t have to include \u2018still no Dana\u2019 because that is in the
\noriginal contract. The addendum is just changes.\u201d<\/p>\n
