Parnasse will make his Octagon debut against Hooker in the
\nUFC Paris<\/a> main event on Sept. 5. The former two-division

\nKSW<\/a> champion claims the UFC veteran is the ideal opponent to
\nshowcase his skills against.<\/p>\n

Salahdine Parnasse expects his aggressive style to mesh with
\nDan Hooker at UFC Paris<\/h2>\n

Parnasse (23-2) enters the UFC with a ton of hype. While he sees
\nhis upcoming opponent as a \u201cbig challenge,\u201d given Hooker\u2019s 12-year
\nrun in the UFC, the French fighter likes the stylistic matchup,
\nespecially considering his Kiwi counterpart\u2019s aggressive fighting
\nstyle.<\/p>\n

\u201cDan Hooker is very strong, very experienced,\u201d Parnasse said at UFC
\nParis media day. \u201cThat’s why he is at the top of the UFC and I
\nthink he is a big challenge and I love this challenge. I think he
\nis a very explosive guy who likes to do a lot in his fights. And I
\nthink that with me, it’s a perfect fight because we are both two
\nguys who like to go out there and put on a great show in the
\ncage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Parnasse enters the bout riding a five-fight winning streak, with
\nhis last win coming on
\nMost Valuable Promotions<\/a>\u2019 inaugural mixed martial arts event.
\nMeanwhile, Hooker is looking to rebound from consecutive losses to
\ntop-ranked lightweights Benoit St.
