\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> a solution to its UFC 332<\/a>
\nmain event problem.<\/p>\n

Cyborg took to social media to call for a rematch with former
\ntwo-division champion Amanda
\nNunes<\/a>, suggesting the fight could headline the Oct. 3 numbered
\nevent in Salt Lake City, which still doesn\u2019t have an announced
\nheadliner. The pair faced off back in 2018, when Nunes won via
\nfirst-round KO.<\/p>\n

\nheadliner uncertainty<\/h2>\n

A women\u2019s flyweight title fight between Valentina
\nShevchenko<\/a> and Natalia
\nSilva<\/a> was rumored for UFC 332, but recent reports indicate
\nShevchenko has been forced to withdraw. With other UFC champions
\nhaving recently fought or already booked for later events, the
\npromotion appears to be scrambling to find a viable headliner.<\/p>\n

Cyborg has offered a solution. The former UFC champ took to X to
\ncall for a rematch with her former foe, Nunes. The latter was
\nexpected to take on Kayla
\nHarrison<\/a> earlier this year, but a neck injury to Harrison saw
\nthe matchup fall through.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Amanda Nunes] tired of waiting for [Kayla Harrison]?\u201d Cyborg
\nwrote on X. \u201cFeel like saving an UFC event?\u201d<\/p>\n

They initially squared off at
\nUFC 232<\/a> in December 2018, when Nunes emerged victorious to
\nbecome a double champ. \u201cThe Lioness\u201d retired in 2023, while Cyborg
\nmost recently competed at
\nPFL Tampa<\/a> on Aug. 22, defeating Ketlen
\nVieira<\/a> by unanimous decision in what was expected to be her
\nfinal mixed martial arts bout.<\/p>\n
