Chimaev has been pushing for an immediate rematch with Strickland
\nafter losing the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> middleweight title, but is now
\nopen to waiting for a title shot. Amidst reports that Strickland
\nvs. Imavov 2 is being targeted for later this year, \u201cBorz\u201d has set
\nhis sights on the victor.<\/p>\n

Khamzat Chimaev wants the winner of Sean Strickland vs.
\nNassourdine Imavov 2<\/h2>\n

Chimaev acknowledged that Imavov, who\u2019s won five fights in a row
\nsince previously losing to Strickland, has been waiting for a
\ndeserved title shot for quite some time.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, there\u2019s no surprise,\u201d Chimaev told Ushatayka, as seen in a
\nclip reposted by Championship Rounds on X. \u201cHow long has Imavov
\nbeen waiting now? Probably around two years. He\u2019s already the
\ncontender. Whoever wins, we\u2019ll take him.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same interview, Chimaev asserted that he has no plans to
\nleave the division, despite his team previously hinting at a light
\nheavyweight move in the aftermath of his loss to Strickland.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d Chimaev replied when asked about moving up a weight class.
\n\u201cUntil we break everybody at 185, I\u2019m not going anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
