Evloev recently revealed that he finds it hard to watch women\u2019s
\nMMA. The
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> featherweight claims to have
\nonly ever enjoyed one women\u2019s MMA bout and is curious about the
\nviewership numbers an all-women promotion would garner.<\/p>\n

UFC 333 title challenger Movsar Evloev questions the appeal of
\nwomen\u2019s MMA<\/h2>\n

Evloev was impressed with Rose
\nNamajunas<\/a>\u2019 title defense against Joanna
\nJedrzejczyk<\/a> in their rematch at UFC
\n223<\/a> in 2018. However, every other bout is a challenging viewing
\nexperience, according to the unbeaten Russian. He jokes that the
\nUFC should start a separate league for women\u2019s MMA and check its
\nviewership.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t watch women\u2019s fights,\u201d Evloev told MMA Junkie. \u201cI can\u2019t
\nwatch; it\u2019s so hard. One fight I watched and liked was [Joanna]\nJedrzejczyk and [Rose] Namajunas, the second one\u2026 I don\u2019t watch a
\nlot of fights, but all the fights I watched of women weren\u2019t good.
\nMaybe they need a separate UFC just for women. And we will see who
\nwatches that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many elite male fighters have criticized women\u2019s MMA over the
\nyears. Khabib
\nNurmagomedov<\/a> has said that women don\u2019t belong in the brutal
\nsport, barring some exceptional few like the legendary Amanda
\nNunes<\/a> and Valentina
\nShevchenko<\/a>. Meanwhile, Sean
\nStrickland<\/a>, who doesn\u2019t like women\u2019s sports in general,
\nbelieves an average man can beat Nunes.<\/p>\n

Evloev (20-0) has finally earned his long-overdue featherweight
\ntitle shot against Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a> (28-4). He challenges Volkanovski for the title at
\n
\nUFC 333<\/a> on Oct. 24 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
\nWhile Evloev criticizes women\u2019s MMA because of inaction, he has
\nalso drawn backlash for the lack of a finish in his UFC career.<\/p>\n
