Gregory
\nRodrigues<\/a> has dismissed Anthony
\nHernandez<\/a>\u2019s cheating claims.<\/p>\n

Rodrigues recently defeated Hernandez by decision in a five-round
\nmiddleweight bout in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>, which earned Fight of the Night
\nhonors. Hernandez later accused Rodrigues of grabbing his gloves
\nduring grappling exchanges in the
\nUFC Sacramento<\/a> headliner. Rodrigues, however, claims it was
\ninadvertent and had no bearing on the outcome.<\/p>\n

Gregory Rodrigues says his glove grab against Anthony Hernandez
\nwas inadvertent and had no impact on the fight<\/h2>\n

Rodrigues spoke to Sherdog about the cheating allegations that
\nemerged in the aftermath of his last bout. While \u2018Robocop\u2019 admits
\nthat he mistakenly grabbed Hernandez\u2019s glove in one instance in the
\nheat of the moment, he says he immediately let it go when his
\nopponent pointed it out.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was no cheating,\u201d Rodrigues said. \u201cIt happened in the heat
\nof the moment while we were against the fence and as soon as he
\npointed it out, I let go. It wasn\u2019t something that stopped a
\ntakedown or had any decisive impact on the fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rodrigues also claims Hernandez knows the incident did not affect
\nthe result and noted that the two fighters later crossed paths,
\neven taking a photograph together. The Brazilian hopes to train
\nwith the American as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have nothing but respect for this guy and I hope we can train
